November 3, 2025
Dear St. Francis of Assisi Parish Family,
It’s hard to believe, but we are already discussing our annual Christmas Tree Sale, taking place Saturday, November 29 to Sunday, December 14. With a two-week sales season, the Christmas Tree Ministry needs lots of volunteers to set up the tree lot, stake the trees, and sell them. Men and women are invited to sign up for as many shifts as possible on the signup below; this online signup will be the first and primary means by which to sign up this year. You’ll also be able to sign up via tangible signup sheets in the Gathering Space.
A few points about which to be aware of before the sale begins:
- The Christmas Tree Sale will open at 9 am Saturday, November 29, and Ministry Coordinator Brian Pettit anticipates we will sell out of our 200-tree inventory quickly. The trees will arrive on or about Friday, November 28, with the supplier offering to both deliver the trees and offload them upon arrival as an in-kind donation.
- Tree prices to our customers should remain similar with an expected slight increase to certain items and sizes, compared to last year. We understand the cost of the trees has increased significantly over the past several years and we continue to do our best to find quality, #1 premium trees at an affordable rate.
- We will also get only 42 wreaths to ensure we don’t have a surplus in the end.
Please plan accordingly to get your Christmas tree and wreath early in the sales season. And don’t forget to sign up to volunteer at the tree lot – we need your help to make this festive parish fundraiser a success!
Blessings,
St. Francis of Assisi Parish Staff
